The Center for the Study of Antimicrobial Resistance will build on a strong foundation of antibiotic resistance (AR) research that exists at the University of Pennsylvania and the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) to address directly current limitations in the AR scientific field.
Three primary areas of research focus in antimicrobial resistance:
1) Translational AR (T-AR)
2) Global AR (G-AR)
3) Community (C-AR).
